NC Board of Education Capital Needs Assessment Report
To meet statutory requirements, Alamance-Burlington School System must submit a capital needs assessment form every five years. Construction Manager-at-Risk: For all bond projects, an architect must first design the new building or building improvements with stakeholder input. The builder is then hired to build what has been designed.
The process for hiring a builder depends on the building method used. One example is Construction Manager-at-Risk which is an authorized contracting method. A Construction Manager-at-Risk is required to deliver the project at a guaranteed maximum price based on the architectural designs.
ProjectManager: The Project Manager is hired for the planning and execution of projects. This individual serves as the liaison between the school and the architect/builder for each project and is responsible for reporting and updating progress and information.
